To eke out more power from the mighty Merc, the guys at MCCHIP-DKR have come up with a “Stage 2” supercharger kit, dubbed MC700, and comes in two versions. Stage one of the upgrade, which is operated by means of a mechanically driven compressor, is joined by a pure compressor kit, while, for the Stage 3 upgrade, it comes with a high-end exhaust system together with a valve control system. The latter comes from Capristo Exhaust Systems and significantly enhances the performance and efficiency of the whole set-up. Power jumps from 571hp to 680hp, with torque rising from the stock 650Nm to 770Nm. Finally, the Stage 4 upgrade sees sports cats and further enhanced software, resulting in 706hp and 793Nm of torque.
